A Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scan is a 3D X-ray that gives a detailed view of a patient's teeth, jawbone, and surrounding structures. It's essential for implant planning, surgical evaluations, TMJ diagnosis, and airway assessments.
Mobile 3D Advantage is a fee for service imaging company and has not contracted with any insurance company. Our company does not have a billing department thus allowing us to save on costs and keep our scan pricing low.
We provide the imaging and report files to your office. Your office can then bill the patient or insurance directly. We do not bill insurance ourselves but we will give an insurance claim form to patient.
Call or text us at 949-282-0083 to book a scan. We make it fast and easy for your office or patients!

This eliminates extra travel and improves the overall experience. We also offer a discount for patients who choose to drive to our office location.
Images are typically delivered digitally within 24 hours - the hard copy will be mailed next business day (3-4 days in mail)
Radiology reports (If requested) are ready within 3-5 business days.
We have a fleet of beautiful Mercedes Sprinter Vans. For your privacy, there are no flashy pictures or words on the side announcing to your neighbors or fellow coworkers that you are having dental work done.
DICOM stands for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine. It is a standard for distributing and viewing medical images. These files contain the raw 3D data created by the CT scanner and can only be viewed by programs that accept DICOM files. Dentists can import the scan into their own software to create images and perform workups. Without compatible software, the scan cannot be viewed.
We accept all major cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), as well as Apple Pay. Payment is required at the time of service unless payment responsibility is being taken care of by your dental office (this must be marked by dental office on referral).
No special preparation is required. We'll guide your team through everything. Just inform us of the appointment time, and we'll handle the rest. Please ensure you have the referral slip with you or have previously sent it to us via text, fax, or email.
